                                                                       Tuesday Musical Club invites auditions from professional SINGING actors for all roles in 
                                                                                   Shirley R. Barasch’s new musical, “Mary Shelley and Her Frankenstein,” 
                                                                                        premiering at The New Hazlett Theater in November, 2008. 
                                                                                  Auditions:       September 8 & 9 —6:30 pm – 10:30 pm (by appointment)
                                                                                      Callbacks:  September 10 & 11 (same place and hours as called.)

                                                                                       AUDITION Requirements 
                                                           Singing actors should prepare a two-minute monologue and two legit arias/ballads that exhibit range and quality.  
                                                             NO BELTERS, please.  Accompanist provided.  Callbacks will include movement/ and cold reading. 
                                                                                                     Bring headshot and resume, stapled together.  
                                                         Visually impaired performers may request an advance copy of the sides when making an audition appointment.

Directions to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 5801 Hampton Street, Highland Park (Pittsburgh).  The church is located between North Negley and North Highland Avenues. From the West, East, and South.  Take Fifth or Penn or Centre Avenues or Baum Blvd. to Shadyside/East Liberty and turn north onto Highland or Negley Avenues (towards Pittsburgh Zoo).  On South Highland Avenue (which becomes North Highland at Penn Avenue), you will pass Home Depot on the right, a traffic light (East Liberty Blvd.), Peabody High School on the left, and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary on the right.  After going thru the next traffic (Stanton Avenue), turn left onto Hampton Street, the fifth intersection after Stanton Avenue.   The church is one block from North Highland at the corner with N. Euclid Avenue.  North Highland Avenue PAT bus 500 stops at Hampton Street.

On South Negley Avenue (which becomes North Negley at Penn Avenue) you will pass Babyland Furniture (at the corner of Penn Avenue) on the left, former Temple Israel on the left, and then go through three traffic lights (the third is Stanton Avenue).  Turn right onto Hampton Street at the third intersection past Stanton Avenue.  The church is at the corner of N. Euclid and Hampton, the fifth block from North Negley.  North Negley Avenue PAT buses 64A and 71A stop at Hampton Street.
From the North:  Take Highland Park Bridge to Allegheny River Avenue or the 62nd Street Bridge (Rte 8) to Butler Street.  Go towards the Pittsburgh Zoo and then turn south (only way) onto THE HILL ROAD.  After passing the Zoo and the Pittsburgh City Reservoir on the right at the top on the hill, turn right onto Mellon Terrace (a divided street).  At the end of Mellon Terrace turn left onto North Negley Avenue.  Turn left onto Hampton Street, the fourth intersection after Mellon Terrace.  The church is at the corner with N. Euclid Avenue, the fifth block from North Negley.
